The Many Species of Humans We Saw at Our Customer Service Week
Every office has its own collection of characters. There's the colleague who jumps at the smallest surprise, the one who hears "food is ready" before the announcement is complete, and the one who can turn a five-minute photo session into a full fashion campaign.
At HumanManager, Customer Service Week gave us the perfect opportunity to take a break from the tickets, targets, meetings and deadlines to celebrate the people behind the work. And, of course, once the pictures started rolling, the different personalities came out to play.
From the professional enjoyers to the techies trying to remember what life looks like outside their laptops, here are 14 species of humans we spotted at our Customer Service Week celebration. Which one sounds like you?
1. The "Wait… Wetin Happen?!" Department
These ones are surprised by EVERYTHING. Tell them the meeting has been cancelled, and they'll ask, "For real?" Announce that lunch is ready, and you'll get the same reaction. Even if you tell them we are in 2026, they'll still look at you like you've just revealed classified information. Some people are born curious. These ones are professionally astonished.

2. The "Chop Life" Gang
Man said make una take the picture sharp sharp. Suya no dey wait for anybody, and this one must not go to waste! While everyone else is adjusting their pose, this colleague is calculating the time between the next bite and the next photo. Because what is Customer Service Week without good food? And why should the suya suffer because of a camera? Priorities must be priorities.

3. The "Sharing Is Caring" Department
Suya is a team-building exercise, abeg. If your colleague is eating and you're not participating, are you people really friends? These ones understand that friendship goes beyond copying someone on emails and saying "well noted." Sometimes, true workplace bonding means sharing the last piece of meat. And if you don't offer your colleague a bite, just know that your next request for assistance may enter the pending folder.

4. The "I Know I'm Cute" Team
She said, "Take the picture. Let me admire myself small." No be everybody came for the party; some came to remind us that fine-girl energy is a full-time job. Every angle is intentional, every pose has been approved, and even the camera must come correct. The celebration may last a day, but these pictures will live forever. So please, take another one. This angle is not giving what it should give.

5. The "I Can't Kill Myself" Gang
Snap this thing quickly, abeg! Customer Service Week no go cruise itself. I have worked hard enough this year to come and form serious person now. How many is life?! These ones have seen enough deadlines to know that enjoyment is not a crime. They are not about to spend their entire celebration looking like they just received an urgent email from the boss. Their philosophy is simple: do your work, meet your targets, but when it is time to catch cruise, please cooperate. Siri, play Timaya's "I Can't Kill Myself."

6. The "Soft Life" Gang
No stress, no pressure, just vibes. If enjoyment were a KPI, these ones have already exceeded target. Appraisal rating: Outstanding! Their calendar may be full, but their commitment to looking unbothered is even fuller. They have mastered the delicate art of being present without looking like they are carrying the entire company on their shoulders. Work will resume. Emails will still be there. For now, let the enjoyment department operate at full capacity.

7. The "Power Smile" Geng
Deadlines may be screaming, but the smile must not scatter. Steeze intact, vibes correct, never caught unfresh! These ones can be having the busiest day of their lives and still smile like their salary just doubled. Their secret? Nobody knows. But if there were an award for keeping a straight face out of the office and a bright smile inside the camera frame, they would be serious contenders. The workload may be doing its worst, but the smile is doing its best.

8. The "Busy, but Repping" Gang
Emails are flying, meetings are piling up, and calendars are fighting for their lives. But who says busy people cannot catch cruise? Big shoutout to our CTO for making time out of his packed schedule to join the fun. Even the brains behind the tech deserve to log out of code mode and log into cruise mode, even if they are checking their emails every 10-10 seconds! It was great seeing him step away from the demands of his schedule to share a moment with the team. After all, leadership is not just about building technology and driving results; it is also about showing up, connecting with your people and making memories together. Sir, we see you. The code can wait. The cruise was worth it!
9. The "Together We Chill" Squad
Friendship is beautiful, but friendship wey fit survive office wahala and still pose for Customer Service Week? Premium! These ones have probably survived urgent requests, last-minute changes and at least one "please, can you quickly help me with something?" from each other. Yet, when it is time to take a picture, the smiles are ready. Because at the end of the day, colleagues who become friends make the workday a little easier and the celebrations a lot more memorable.
10. The Owambe Ready FC
Their outfits stay ready like an owambe invitation is already loading. One whistle and they are prepared to slay, spray and dance till further notice. From office mode to party mode? Zero transition time. These ones' readiness for an Aso Ebi party is on default mode. Their colleagues may be worrying about whether the meeting starts at 10 or 10:30, but these gentlemen have already settled the most important question: who is looking sharp today?

11. The "Show Me Your 32" Gang
These ones are loyal to Lagbaja's legendary "Fẹ́yin Ẹ" anthem. For the glam? They are camera-ready. For the smiles? They are 32-ready! Abeg, snap quickly! This party will not enjoy itself, and these smiles must not waste. They understand that a good picture is not just about the outfit or the angle; sometimes, all you need is to show your teeth and let the happiness do the talking. Dentists everywhere would be proud.

12. The "Premium Steeze & Calmness" Duo
One came with corporate-baddie energy; the other came with calm, cool and collected vibes. Did you say aura-farming? That's on you, oh! Different personalities, different approaches, but one shared mission: take the picture and enjoy the cruise. One is serving confidence, the other is serving serenity, and somehow, the combination works perfectly. Customer Service Week is not a board meeting. Everybody is allowed to bring their own flavour!
13. The "Shades On, Aura Activated" Gang
No rush, no pressure. Just good vibes, clean drip and enjoying the moment. These ones are here for the shot, and immediately afterwards, they are ready to return to the celebration. The sunglasses are on, the outfit is correct, and the aura is doing all the talking. Even the camera had to behave! They do not need to announce that they have arrived. Their entrance has already submitted the report.

14. The "Tech Trio: Compile Cruise.exe"
These ones are itching to return to their laptops, but even techies deserve a break! Code can wait, cruise cannot. For a team that spends so much time solving problems, building solutions and making technology work, a little time away from the screens is a welcome change. For now, close the tabs, open the vibes, and let the enjoyment run without bugs! No debugging, no deployments, no urgent tickets. Just three colleagues, one frame and a much-needed reminder that even the people who build the tech need time to enjoy the human side of work.
